yES THE LAST ONE IN THE DOOR GOT A SUB POSITION IN THE DEBT STRUCTURE!Only someone investing someone elses money could do that.Maybe GS advised them not to be too demanding and went and bought the other paper that would get .70 on the dollar for likely a fraction of that.Another swindle by WallStreet on the clueless American public.Let's see what kind of severence our friendly bankers get.

Tim Knight is strong on using log scale. Others prefer linear, sometimes for shorter timeframes.

This Dow Jones Total Market chart shows a point between the log and linear.

And a hell of a confluence of trendlines like a laser war and the DCW index totally tapped its 50% Fib line. Amazing, and thank you Mr. Fibonacci. You rock almost as much as Bernoulli.

My vision? Not to lose a national seat (NY-23) that has been held by a Republican for 100 years because of some in-fighting by a group of "fringe" elements. There should be more to the Republican party than anti abortion and anti gay marriage. Uhhhh something like less government and lower taxes?

This type of "eating your own" and "cleansing" will get you no where but in the South. Wait and see.

RIMM, I like the odds going long RIMM is it repeats anywhere near $55, I'd say up approx 4% in one day, after a falling knife--IS the bottom--That's why I went long SOHU today--sort of the same chart pattern.

This is an updated version of my chart from yesterday when USD had been hugging the interior line of the expanding wedge. Today there was an intraday poke through to the upper channel of the wedge.

Interesting. Suggests reversal.

STEC down 32% after hours, was up 8% at close ! Used to be short a lot, now short very little (put spread), but wow has that thing fallen !
