'Twas not my intention.
I am running around like a mad thing getting everything organised so I can fly to see my not-very-well Mama.
I appreciate the point you made but cannot "check my charts" as I have none to check ;-)
Hope you're having a pleasant weekend.

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

Hi Moo,

Yes, I'm on twitter...or at least that's where I tend to make comments.
Mostly on the ES.

Things are good. I'm sim trading the ES, which is getting better. I've been
good on direction but still need work on trade entry.

I tend to read the blogs mostly by my disqus subscriptions, which cuts out
the chit chat.

I hope you feel better soon. Maybe you can still get some good rides in
before it gets too cold. I'm a long retired racer, but I've been training
fairly hard recently.

Cheers,

S

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

thanks toad.

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

I do, but if there is follow thru tomorrow on this market going higher, I
may abandon it.

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

yeah I don't blame you... I was very surprised to see 1083 taken out
and then 1088. As a consequence i avgd in short @ 1089 and 1091

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

Yep. It may need to consolidate a bit near the first gap, but so far it
looks excellent. I'll continue to hold at least half of my position unless
the market deteriorates significantly before the close. My FSLR and BIDU
longs are also working nicely now.

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

Awesome deal... I'm focusing on attitude and money management... the right trading system or technique will come in due time.

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

Aha, I recognize that voice of temptation. While nothing market-moving is anticipated, there is always a risk of price swings during his talk.

At 10 a.m. ET, Existing Home Sales will be released. Expectations are for the unit number to rise from the last report, with a forecast of 5.35 million units. The range is from 5.21 million to 5.5 million.

Re: Trades for 10/22/09

What kind of performance did you end up with on the account?
# of weeks
% gain or loss

I took 100k: lost 30k, made 23k, then I started fooling around and throwing darts. I basically took a 100k account and churned 100k of it up and down in 6 months, ie. my total profit and loss was 100k of profit and 107k of loss. Let's' wait and see if these bulls can hold /ES 1080 area. That is the key level imo. For all intents and purposes, these two days accomplished zero. Perhaps a warning shot to the gov't that these bankers don't like having their bonuses messed with...I'll be watching GS, MS, with their so called commercial banking status (give me a break) yet are taking high risk leveraged positions and putting the public trust using tax payer money at constant high risk. This is nothing short of blackmail imo....their charts will tell us everything we need to know.
