Most employers send out an email or notification of some kind if there is a blackout period when employees can't trade the company stock.

Generally speaking, the weakest looking daily charts are in REITs, financials, small caps, and certain asian markets. All are up today, some by decent percentages. They'll eventually be what I want to short. But for now I'm 100% long in a smattering of my favorite flu/biotech issues plus STEC and DRYS.

Setting up for a Trend up day in equities led by the USD. $$ $ES_F Ticks have been overwhelmingly positive.

Pre-open there was weakness in some sectors but someone pressed the sell the dollar button around 9:00AM and no looking back since then.
Watch for the oil report to get the all clear.

NFP, PNC, USB, MS, WFC are some of the better looking and acting financials right now. The education stocks are also still looking very ripe-- CECO, COCO, ESI, STRA, APOL, DV.
